Integrated Solutions For Retailers announces winners of its Small To Midsize Retail Solution Provider Awards
ERIE, PENNSYLVANIA, May 19, 2006 - CORESense Inc. was named a winner in Integrated Solutions For Retailers magazine’s Small To Midsize Retail Solutions Awards. CORESense was honored with the award for Best Multi-Channel Retail Solution for its work with Home Office Solutions Group.
CORESense beat out a field of its peers in the retail solutions vendor community to win the award. An independent panel of VP- and C-level retail technology executives from Integrated Solutions For Retailers’ editorial board judged the nominations in early May. Integrated Solutions For Retailers’ Small To Midsize Retail Solution Provider Awards are given out annually to innovative results-driven vendors that cater to retailers with revenue of less than $500 million.
CORESense nominated Home Office Solutions Group to showcase the power of its product.
Home Office Solutions Group, located in Northbrook, Illinois, is one of the country’s largest authorized Herman Miller for the Home retailers. The judging panel studied the installation, examining the following criteria:
- What was the primary business challenge?
- How was the challenge addressed?
- What specific providers contributed to the solution?
- How did technology enable the solution?
- What was the time frame for solution implementation?
- How has the end user (retailer) benefited?
- How have you been able to quantify the success of the project?
“The fact that an independent panel of retailers hand-picked these winners is a testament to the quality of the installations nominated,” said Integrated Solutions For Retailers’ Editor In Chief Matt Pillar. “The winning implementations were selected from a field of 16 finalists. These vendors are true innovators, champions of the SMB retailer, and are completely deserving of this recognition.”
Vendor finalists for this year’s Small To Midsize Retail Solutions Awards included Celerant Technology, CipherLab, CORESense, Ecometry, GERS Retail Systems, LaGarde, Magstar, Manhattan Associates, New West Technologies, Newgistics, SofTechnics, Torex Retail North America, and Workbrain.
Nominated retailers included Aerosoles, Boscov’s Department Stores, Brooks Brothers, Camping World, Children’s Bookshop, Dale And Thomas Popcorn, Emerson’s Furniture, Home Office Solutions Group, Kirschman’s Of New Orleans, Muvico, Saager Shoe Shop, Sedano’s Supermarkets, Square Yard, The Plantation Shop, Tilley Endurables, and Woodcraft Supply Corporation.
