CORESense Reports Multi-Channel Retail Clients' Holiday Sales Off to a Record Start
  Black Friday and Cyber Monday Sales Increased 24% and 33% respectively over 2010
 

SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY– November 30, 2011 –– CORESense (www.coresense.com), provider of the first and only cloud-based multi-store/multi-channel retail management solution, today announced that total orders, total sales and gross margin for their retail clients increased significantly on Black Friday, the all-important start to the Holiday Shopping season.

CORESense clients leverage their presence across multiple channels including catalog, online, stores, call centers and kiosks as well as a centrally managed back office to cost effectively increase traffic and average transaction size. Most recently these retailers rode their multi-channel and cross-channel strategies to 24 percent year-over-year growth in sales on Black Friday. In comparison, ShopperTrak reported that the retail industry saw a 6.6 percent increase compared to Black Friday 2010. In addition, while many retailers pushed margin-busting discounts to attract shoppers, CORESense retailers were able to increase gross margin 15 percent year over year.
