Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Quality Assurance Analyst with knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in software quality assurance. He/She will work in a team environment to ensure that quality is driven into products and services at every step of the product / project lifecycle. The successful candidate will work closely with our product development and implementation teams to ensure quality product delivery and integration of retail business applications including web sites, 3rd-party software, custom user interfaces, and order fulfillment processes in an integrated product environment. Reports to: Director of Qualty Assurance
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support simple to moderately complex software-based systems.
  • Ensure that designated, approved functionality is properly working in the software products developed by the company.
  • Produce quality, timely, and adequate work which is subject to review at various milestones.
  • Work closely with development in the resolution of defects.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective action for recurring problems.
  • Participate in project status meetings.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute a comprehensive set of test scripts.
  • Document customer specific user acceptance testing and system acceptance testing scenarios.
  • Work with other SQA personnel in creating automation tools and support testing environments.
  • Perform load and stress testing, and document performance issues as aligned with business objectives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technology Field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Experience testing HTML/CSS/PHP/MySQL applications.
  • 1+ years of experience in a team development environment.
  • Knowledge of how components of an application connect to create a comprehensive solution.
  • Experience with Retail or Ecommerce Software Applications a plus.
  • Experience with Automated testing tools a plus.
