Implementation Consultant

Job Description

The Implementation Consultant is a hybrid business and technical consultant that works alongside our new clients as they transition into CORESense software-as-a-service retail application.  Responsibilities include: technical and business related requirements gathering as well as the effective management of a cross functional delivery team and successful solution rollout.   The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of retail and/or ecommerce business processes as well as experience in managing a technical engagement from inception through final deployment

Reports to: Senior Director of Professional Services
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead implementation engagements with small to medium sized retailers to define and implement their technical and business related retail management and ecommerce website needs using the CORESense application.
  • Meets with client stakeholders to understand business needs, developed and gain approval for solution specifications and coordinate planning.
  • Configure CORESense application to meet the identified business needs.
  • Manage website development project coordinating between clients, creative firms and internal web developers.
  • Manage multiple client engagements and coordinate across multiple functional groups within CORESense.
  • Assume accountability for all aspects of projects including billing from inception to hand-off to support.
Qualifications
  • Knowledgeable of business related software systems (Ecommerce, Point of Sale, SFA, CRM, etc.).
  • Excellent strategic, business & technically focused analysis.
  • Experience in leading complex projects with minimal oversight.
  • Good organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks and switch quickly between tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of professional client interactions / presentations.
  • Ability to consultatively engage with customers and to make quick, complex decisions.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience with relational databases and web-based applications a plus.
  • Knowledge of Internet development technologies (HTML, XML, Web Services, web development tools, etc) and MySQL a plus.
  • 4 year college degree plus a minimum of three years business experience. (technical or business consulting preferred).
